2026-10-01 Any ability that you control that creates a token upgrade on a unit satisfies the condition of Jar Jar's ability, including Shielded.
2026-10-01 Jar Jar’s leader ability still can be used as an action even if you didn't give a token upgrade to a unit this phase (but you don't deal or heal any damage).
