2025-03-06 Vader’s leader ability still can be used as an action even if you haven't attacked with a non-token Vehicle unit this phase (but no TIE Fighter token is created).
2025-03-06 In order to deploy Vader as an upgrade, there needs to be a friendly Vehicle unit for him to attach to. You cannot deploy him as an upgrade and attach him to one of the TIE Fighter tokens he creates when deployed.
